NA Wood turtle pictures

kensopher Nov 17, 2006 12:13 PM

Another raggedy photo.

This guy is a future stud. I'm working on getting a picture of all 4 of the young Wood turtles in this tank, but I want to catch them when the are playing "king of the mountain" on the basking spot. In the meantime, here's the #1 in the 1.4

They'll be going outdoors in the spring, permanently.

Here's 'king of the mountain' in action. The male in the water is plotting his next move. Can't you tell by the look on his face? These turtles really are smart.

nice pic Ken. Do you think you could post some close up shots of the individual wood's? They have some nice coloration.

I liked looking at the stack of woods.
Great photos as usual.

Here is female #2. Her coloration was perfect for the bad lighting I had set up

Awesome Buddy!

Thanks Chris! We'll have to see how well they retain this juvenile pattern. The shells will probably dull, and the skin will probably brighten. Either way, they're extremely healthy which is my main concern.
