How often do your brown anoles shed? My anole has shed twice in the past week. And how do they shed, my anole's skin just turns white and splits everywhere. Do you think the UV light is too strong? Not enough calcium supplements maybe?

The frequency of shedding depends on growth rate. Is he shedding his entire body every few days or parts of it? Many Anoles will shed in stages -- the head one day, the body the next, then the tail.

That might be it. I just saw him shedding his tail before and I was just paying attention to his face and torso this time.
