My c.b 05 super spot

spottedturtleman Dec 06, 2006 06:55 PM

Here is my most highly spotted of this bloodline. I have others from the same parents that are all highly spotted but I think he is the best I have seen. He does have irregular scutes but I don't mind. What do you think?

Very, very pretty! They look like the Spots I used to see in Jersey. The Southern Spots that I've seen usually only have one per scute.

Thanks ken. I do have some Noth Carolina spotteds that have a fair number of spots. I think that the southern spotteds are more colorful but the northers do seem to have more spots. I am not 100% sure where these adults came from but I think the male is from Jersey. I got him from a pet store back in the 90's that would sell HUNDREDS of spotted every summer. I was only in high school so I couldn't afford the $100 each price tag but there were some unreal spotteds sold there. One time I went to that store they had five 20 gallon tanks filled 5 deep with all male spotteds. They were all poached from Jersey by some drug addict who is now dead of an overdose.

Thank you those are interesting pictures. Can you post one showing the whole living quarters of them. The setup for the babies and adults. I know these first are not spotteds but they have spots. Thanks
