Green banana lizard?

foxykitty911 Dec 09, 2006 08:40 PM

Has anyone heard of a banana lizard? The pet store I work at is going to get one and I can't find any info on habitat and care of these types of lizards!

Normally Japalujra splendida is sold under that name. A delicate species which needs a defined montane setup with cold nights and moving water to thrive.

Best regards

Hey, I have a 'green banana lizard' with my crested geckos.... he's quite the personality. But I STILL cannot find any information on him. I did a search on Japalujra splendida and haven't found anything.

Can you help with more information on him/her.

Right now we have kinda tropical conditions in a 55 gal glass tank with natural plants and soil, and 70-82 degrees. He seems to love crickets.

He's running/jumping all over during the day and of course the cresteds are awake at night. He's shed 4x in the last 6 months. Any help is appreciated !
