If you don't want it, I'll buy it from you. There used to be one around, but no offspring were ever produced from it that I know of. Don't let it get away, but if you do buy it, make sure you quarantine for parasites, etc.

Thank you. I wish you could take it, but the animal is in Taiwan it's an Import from China. It dosn't suit my snake room temps. But I could make a plan for it.
I'll have to act fast if I want it because it's on desplay at a herp shop and going cheep. It will end up in the wrong hands if I don't take it, the owner of the shop dosn't even know what species it is.

I was wondering if it was in the U. S. Unfortunately, I don't have any way of getting it over here, so can't help you do that. I would love to see it in the U. S., however. It would be nice to have some albinos in this species. Good luck if you try to do something with it.

TC, that species isn't CITES listed as far as I know. Other than a heavier than normal shipping fee, if you really want it, I don't think you'd have much of a problem; probably just keeping it warm when it gets to your arctic location

Shane, I thought you would need an import license to bring it into the country? If not I'd be willing to try. Thanks...

TC, the import permits are for commercial (not personal) use of the animals. You have to declare the animal with a USFWS form, and have it cleared by FWS before customs will release the package to you, which AFAIK, isn't that much of a hassle most of the time.
I don't know what the export process from Taiwan would entail. I did a quick search of approved ports of entry, and the closest one to you is Chicago. There are also special ports where you would have to pay a fee to use the service, but again, none close to you.
There are of course other ways to go about it in a legitimate manner, i.e. having it shipped to someone you know near a POE, or to a licensed dealer, and then having them ship it to you..........just depends on how badly you want it. I bet you don't want it that badly do you

I got it. I hope it takes well to captivity. This is the first one I'v seen here so finding a mate for it won't be easy. I'm planing on moving back to S Africa in 2 years. I will try to take all the snake I baught here back with me as pets.

Good deal, I'd love to see some pics if you're able. Just outta curiousity, what kind of bargain did you get on it, as you'd mentioned the dealer had no idea?
