Here are a few pics of some of the dione that i have located in Korea (sunning themselves on my farm). I also have some field pics but need to dig them out. These show some of the color/pattern variations and would love to see some others, not only from korea but also some of the northern varieties.

Now I can't wait till spring so i can really try to get some more detailed info/pics.

Thanks, Don

Thanks, Don. Those are great pics. I really can't post much right now because I have to go to work, but I'll put some more pics up later. Here's a scanned photo of a South Korean female with a Ukrainian female in the background...

I like the idea of photos of your snakes, in situ, on your farm. I take those kinds of pics on our mini-farm in Northern Michigan, but we don't have any ratsnakes here, mostly garters and milksnakes, etc. Anyway, look forward to it.

Happy Holidays....Terry

Here's a few more pix.

A couple young males from 2002...

A 2001 male showing head shape...

One of our 2002 females at 2.5 yrs...

Another young male...

The 2002 female again...

Interesting that some photos show the dorsal keeling, whereas other don't. I guess it's the focus and/or lighting. South Korean dione have lightly keeled scales on about seven mid-dorsal scale rows.
