I was cleaning my tokay's cage yesterday and proceeded to picking it up a couple time. Needless to say, she didn't enjoy it very much and wild I was vacumming up the dead crickets and poops, she attacked me. She jumped clear across from the other side of tank at angle, so it was probably about 12 inch jump, at my hand, trying to bite me. Luckily, I was in the process of lifting my hand out of the tank, so she did not suceeded in clamping her jaw down on my hand, but barely grace off my hand. I'm telling you...she is one evil tokay! But I still love her, though! She is still one my favorite reptile pet. LOL!!!

Tokays have feelings like people. How would YOU feel if a big giant grabbed you. Wouldn't you freak out? I think so. That's what a tokay is feeling. Scared. You can't fault him for being afraid.
