He had buried himself into the sphagnum for a couple months. Actually just re-surfaced the other day to go swimming and eat a few reptomin sticks. Him eating on his own like that is a good sign.

I think he's come out of a semi-hibernation or depressive funk.. cause now he's active and eating whereas before all he did was hide and not eat.

I bet that since he was W/C, he is still in that mode and was trying to hibernate. That is pretty common for the first couple of years.
