I got my crested gecko yesterday afternoon, and now
I noticed tonight that my crested gecko is having problems sticking to the glass. I have been misting the terrarium like the breeder told me too. One in the morning and a more heavy mist in the evening. Not too much though. he wasn't having this problem yesterday...He is just laying on his log on the bottom of the cage. I wonder if he is wondering just why it it he can't climb like he normally does. I wonder what i could be doing wrong. Can anyone hlep me please!!!I thought i was doing everything right.
Thanks very much

Hehe, I did answer this at the other site, but will answer it here too.

I think he may be about to shed, crested geckos do lose much of their traction (or stickiness of their toes) when they are about the shed. I suspect in a few days he will be sticking as normal to the sides of the cage. It could also be moisture on the cage sides. I do notice after I mist my crested gecko cages they tend to slide more on the sides that are damp.

Below is a holdback from the batch of crested eggs I hatched couple months ago.
