Yah I moved him into a 15 gallon tank and I washed it like it told me to in some of the other posts... I'm not shure the last time he ate I try to feed him a cricket every day by holding it with tongs but sometimes he dosent eat them... when I left for work today he was in the same spot and his legs are still streched all the way out and he still dosent look like he's breathein... so I have to wate to cheak him again when I get home... do you have any idea what would coz him to do this ???

1) what is the substrate
2) what supplements did you use on the crickets
3) how often were the crickets supplemented
4) what was the temperature in the tank
5) how often were you cleaning the substrate
6) when you say how other people recommended disinfected the tank what was that method
7) what size cricket were you feeding

1.I'm not shure what its called but its in a brick form and you add water and it loosens up
2.dusting stuff is called sandfire super foods tree frog dust by t rex
3. I dusted them everyother time I put crickets in (I put 2 to 3 per day)
4.when he was in a big tank it was at 75 when I put him in a smaller tank it was at 80-83
5. I've been cleaning the tank once a week
6. I been useing a half of teespoon of bleach and srcubing it with a srcuber that I bought espesicaly for the tank and than reinseing it out intell there is no oder of the bleech
7. I am bying the big crickets....
I hope this helps.... he still just chillin in one spot his legs are underneth him now still good coloer but no eating and still dosent really look like he's breathing...

It is probably one of the coco fiber bricks.

As this has a ratio of vitamin A to D3 outside of the recommnended ratios I would be very hesitant to use it on any anurans other than the recommneded treefrogs....

If you look in the nutritional literature, daily dusting is often not recommended due to the risk of oversupplementation of the fat soluable vitamins and calcium. Dusting should be dependent on the frequency of feeding with daily feedings not being dusted daily but only every other day.

Does this mean spot cleaning or a total strip down of the tank?

1/2 teaspoon of bleach in how much water? Where did you get the sponge?

For how big a frog?

has he shown any sign of seizures when you have moved him around or handled him?

Ok
1. Yeah that's what it was called

2.so what dusting should I use... this was the only one I could really find for any cind of frogs...

3.I have replaced all of the coco fiber brick and clean the tank... the srcuby brush I bought from fread myers just to srcub the tank... with at lest a couple gallons of water (between like 3 and 4 I would guess)

My frog is at lest 3 inchis by 3 inchs

He has showed no sign of sezures

But when I woke up this morning to quirt him down ... (I read this on hear) it looked like he had a lyer of plastic on him so I was thinking mabye he is shedding or something so I guess ill keep posting as it gos... thank you for trying to help me I really apresheate it
