Chameleolis barbatus temperatures

eric561 Jan 09, 2007 08:10 PM

Does anyone know what temperature range is good for Chameleolis barbatus? Also, what is a good incubation temperature for eggs? Any help is appreciated.

Ambient temperature around 26-28 degrees Celsius, with local heat source (reflector lamp)providing about up to 35 on the spot. These are nonheliothermic twig animals, so fluorescent tubes with like 5% UVB plus one daylight tube are OK as main light sources. Eggs do fine at 26 Celsius, with night drop down to 20-18. C. barbatus could be put to winter temperatures of like 22-24 in December through February.
