Pacman estivation

gwarlad Jan 20, 2007 01:17 PM

Hey all,

My pacman, after going into what I think was estivation, has returned to status quo after a little more than a week and a half. Is this normal?

Also, he spends quite a bit of time w/his eyes tucked now. I've never seen him do this up until the estivation. Is this normal as well?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ok, it is actually good for the pacman. Pacmans need to estivate atleast once every two years in order to maintain a healthy respiratory system. Now, ALWAYS KEEP HIM MOIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never pick him up, touch him, or bother him. Keep the tank humid, and avoid ,aking disturbances.

Thank-you much. I'm a bit nervous about all of this, having not been thru it before w/him.
