Supermarginal question

tortorama Jan 24, 2007 07:46 PM

Has anyone heard of larger alligator snappers with 4 supermarginal rows? Can anyone show me a picture of this or point me in a direction where i might find a picture of one?

I heard of some ally snappers having 4 supermarginal ridges but I could never find any pics. I asked John Richards about them a few months ago and he said he had never seen any Ally Snapper with 4 rows of supermarginals. Maybe they are a myth?
