Does anyone recognize this guy?

FredLobster Jan 27, 2007 11:42 PM

I was cleaning up the backyard and I found this guy dead at the base of a tree near my sulcata enclosure. He looks like he's only been dead for a few hours, and lost part of his tail days or weeks ago.

I didn't have anything to put in the picture for perspective but he's about 6" long.

We live in Austin, TX.

Anyone know what he is?

Thanks!

Texas Spiny Lizard. I live a little North of San Antonio and see them all the time in the warm months.
