I can honestly say I have never used a UVB bulb for any of my turtles with no ill effects. Im sure it cant hurt and probably does help, but the small amount of UVB those bulbs do put out just do not seem worth the price tag.

Currently in the US Navy so I have sold off my collection. But over the years I have had dozens of turtles, fish, geckos, and other lizards. Cant wait to get back in the hobby once im out though!

When I said any of my turtles... I ment my snappers. Just wanted to clear that up. I am interested though in which bulbs produce the most UVA/UVB rays.
