Rough green snake attempting to eat a slice of carrot instead of her crickets. Guess no one mentioned to her that snakes aren't vegetarians LOL.

I always keep food for the crickets in the cage. Hungry crickets tend to start chewing on reptiles when they have nothing else available. Had a young bearded dragon get gangrene in the tail once from crickets nibbling on them. Learned the lesson the hard way.
