question about frilled dragons

jxjaxj Feb 07, 2007 12:43 PM

I know Frilled dragons spread out their frills everytime they're upset, but in general, is it common to see them spreading out their frills a lot in the day or is it uncommon for them to show them? Thanks.

The only thing that makes my guy frill is when he is basking and gets a bit too warm. Since they love to be on the highest branches, its not hard to get a bit too close to the lamp. He seems like he rather enjoys it, hes always beautifully colored at this time as well. Other than that the only thing that makes mine frill out is when he sees a blue sharpie, why I don't know. He is super spoiled and I take him for rides on my shoulder often, so nothing really freaks him out. If its truly frilling out a lot, you may want to handle it more. Can you tell me nore about it, pics would be nice too. Take care!
