yellow shelled snappers

SteveH Feb 11, 2007 09:13 PM

Just wondering why they grow at a slower rate than the normal(or even the darker shelled pinkskins) any ideas? My darker shelled pinkskin is almost double the size of the yellow shelled snappers and eats alot more. Maybe the bigger one is a male? The one on the right has out grown the one on the left.

Steve I think you may be right. My slower growing one has a gold shell and was temp hatched as a female but my other pinkskin with the darker shell is growing like crazy.
