I find that they don't typically like the water. This is the only time mine actually stayed in the water. He usually avoids it completely. The only time it is beneficial is when they are in shed. Mine has now taken to soaking in his water dish in his enclosure. He never did this before, but it's nice now that he does, because I don't have to put him in the tub. and misting happens less frequently now. If your's does not soak on him own, I would soak him in mildly warm water while he is in shed, and mist his vivarium.

Mine pretty much balks at the tub too but sometimes during the "dry heat" of winter with the furnace heat turned on his sheds can be awful. I personally use an super huge plastic tub with lid that I use as a snake "pool". After the initial "shock" he settles down into the tepid water and soaks for about 20-30 minutes with just his head above water. Then I dump the water from the tub and add a nice warm, damp towel that he uses to get rid of his unshed skin. He comes out nice and clean and gorgeous in his new skin!

Yup, she is in shed! My bigger girls take a while to settle in the tub, but my male down right refuses haha!

Mine is in shed right now, almost complete actually. It usually takes her a couple of days to finish. So far she has been pretty thorough with only a few small patches.

I think I'd be scared if I walked in and found her that way! It wouldn't be that I'd be afraid of the snake, but how she got there without me!!

She looks good Amy!
