Redfoot tortoise plants

sned25271 Feb 13, 2007 07:57 PM

I am looking to plant my outdoor redfoot enclosure. I live in southern california and the enclosure has several adult redfoots living in it. I am looking for some safe plants that would help raise humidity, look nice, and possibly be edible. Any advice on plant species would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I get my Redfoot plants (well, food seeds really) at turtlestuff.com

If I use mulch and keep everything watered, that stuff grows like mad keeps the humidity up nicely. For watering I use drip irrigation sprayers set on timers.
