YES absolutely. i have three Alligator snapping turtles and i feed them about every three to four days. mine are about the same size as yours and if you feed your snapper every day then it will become fat and unhealthy. i am no expert though so i am just telling you what i know dont base your decisions only on my input.
Thanks Man
i dont "feed" my i i just put fish in his tank and when they get low i restock, is this ok?
what you're doing is no problem, especially if you are still checking on it. My girl gets fat real easily, her weight seems to change a lot. It's like every time she eats her monthly assortment of fish she gains but then loses a lot when she goes back to pellets. Another thing, after the fish, I can see a dramatic size change when it comes to length, like seriously in only a few days she becomes a lot bigger after the fish.
