What all do you guys feed your Tokays? I'm wanting to give them a varied diet. Right now I only feed crickets but I'm going to start feeding them silkworms and hornworms, and roach's if they will take them. What else could I feed?

Waxworms!!!!!!
Hornworms are great food for sure!
They like smaller roaches and I actually let my hissers breed in the cage with my Tokays.

I mean they hunt crickets but how would I get them to come down to a feeder dish to eat mealies or waxworms or supers?
My guys are youngsters but very skittish and prefer the crickets that climb up near the top.

Mine took 2 weeks before they would eat mealworms out of a bowl. Every other day I would put fresh gutloaded mealworms in the bowl for them. I almost gave up on offering it. Then finally after a couple weeks the bowl started coming up empty. I would add a few and the next day it would be empty again. So just give it sometime to get used to it and see what happens. Some may never get use to eating out of a bowl. My tokays are all C.B. I dont know if that has anything to do with it versus W.C. but to me a hungry tokay will eat reguardless where the food is, if its healthy.
My pair are both WC animals and have breed for me with out problems. I feed mine Silkworms but I'm meaning to try a few other kinds. All I did was put them in a bowl. Came back the next day and they where gone. For the hell of it I put some buy their heads and they go nuts over them.
It's all trial and error with them really ask anyone. Even Kevin hasn't got to the bottom of them yet. . . though I got my money on him to figure them out first as he seems to do with everything else lol. There seem to be a good amount of people working with them just no one producing any new data on them that is being distributed for the community. I found only 2 books on them and they are pretty much beginners guides to Tokays. . . the kind that are maybe 50 pages. Dont get me wrong they are pretty good books just they dont go in depth about alot of things. So for now until some of the guys pull together on this one we all pretty much have to help each other out with what does and doesn't work.
I wish this forum got more attention that it does because Tokays are awesome animals if people can get over the reputation of them being demon spawn. I've been working with mine like Kev said and even though they are wild caught they seem to be calming down when I'm around. . . well the male for sure but they female still dont want much to do with me. You see alot of people with tame Tokays that just needs to get out to the public that you can handle them like any Beardy you see. If that happens the market will open up, more people will start breeding them, less WC will be in the market and alot less junk animals will be sold. .
I'm done with my rant for the month. . . any comments feel free to leave after the beep. . . . BEEP!
Just realized that probably wont be seen much sense it was under a totally random title.

My tokay seems to like human attention when she's in the mood. Mine doesn't mind being held at all. And she never tried to bite me either. That's cool. I let her jump or walk on me rather than pick her up. I think when you grab a hold of them they freak. Wouldn't you? Look how small they are compaired to you, a giant. Wouldn't you freak out too? IMAGINE HOW IT WOULD FEEL IF A BIG GIANT GRABBED A HOLD OF YOU!!!
Tokays have feelings like people!!
They really do. Mine is thriving on attention and in fact will refuse to eat unless I give her attention. Because I put myself in her shoes.
