White patches, and peeling skin! HELP!!!

TravisTheTurtle Feb 20, 2007 07:47 AM

I got 2 spiny soft shell turtles from a pet shop bout 2weeks ago, they seemed fine at 1st, i was told 1 is male, 1 is female. well the male got a white patch on his shell seemed like fungus so i used sum anti bacterial cream on it, now the it seemed 2 av spread 2 the underside of his shell and his feet and 2 shoulders. Hes seems fine in his self and is eating, and the other soft shell is fine. Iv started putting savlon cream on him 2wice daily. I have provided him wiv a basking area but only wiv a standard day light. And i raised the water temp 2 30c. Could any1 explain wat this infection is and the best way 2 cure it? thank you
