ORLANDO SENTINEL (Florida) 20 February 07 Man trying to kill snake shoots himself in leg (Gary Taylor)
An Oviedo man is being treated for a gunshot wound to his leg after he shot himself while trying to kill a rattlesnake.
The shooting occurred about 2 p.m. in the 600 block of Riverwoods Trail.
The man told authorities he was trying to shoot a snake and instead shot himself in the leg.
No other information is available.
