Got a camera today and took some pictures of my Southern Painted, Rocky. He's about a 1 1/4 inches. He's great. I posted a month or so about his bad color, but since I've mixed up his diet and added crickets, mealworms, and redworms, you can really see the orange coming out, and I can even see color on his legs now.
Nice...look at the red in those carapace margins. Good luck with him, I've found baby paints to be a bit tricky.
I feed my Eastern Painted orange Koi pellets , used to enhance the color of koi fish. Since I have been doing this her color is really beautiful.
