Nice snake. Locality info? I have 2.2 '06 mole kings that I hatched from a pair of gravid females I caught last May in Catawba Co, NC. Awesome little snakes once started on pinks. Have you bred them before?

I plan to breed them as soon as the female sheds. I finished worming the around the end of Feb. The female has been eating great. I am just waiting for her to shed.

These are from Ga. sock.

Did they lock up? Any eggs yet?

Hey Mike, I'm sure I'll be e-mailing you soon and begging for more info on Mole King husbandry! I'm really glad that I got to finally meet you. This Nc. herping trip will go in my record book as the best trip of my life, with your help of course!
Now, if I could only get a female?
Thanks!

Hey Phil,
Glad you had such a good time on the trip. You must have set some kind of record finding a mole king and two corns within an hour or so... I left Brad a message re: the moles on Sunday, but haven't heard back. We will get to work on it man. You will love that little mole...just be patient...and stock up on ground skinks and/or worm snakes!

You can call me anytime with questions. Peter has my number.

Outstanding. Gets my vote for our most underappreciated colubrid in the hobby. Babies are a pain in the a$$, but once started they are just awesome to work with, don't get too big, hardy, great feeding response, nice variety of colors out there, even from one locality.

Thanks for sharing.

Michael
