New to CWD's, Can anyone answer this????

kellybee Mar 06, 2007 06:31 AM

We just bought our first pair of CWD's, this past weekend. Both are about 5inches from nose to vent, but we have seen them smaller, does anyone have any idea as to their age?

Through all the research we did before buying them, we have found info on hatchlings etc, but due to their slow growth rate I figured that existing owners are likely the best to ask as we cant find anything to answer our question

Thanks !!

Well according to the size chart, with proper husbandry and care the approximate age is around 18 months old, give or take.. because unless you knew how they were brought up and such you wouldnt really know, they could be older but didnt properly grow because of care.. but thats the estimate.. 18 months

Thanks so much, was just looking at a site with a table giving estimates of size to age ratio. I figured the same, so thankyou for your help !!
