Sick Redfoot, please give your opinion

Hello, i have a redfoot that is 8 inches long that is having plastron problem, it have the plastron cracking and lifting about 1 inches by 6 inches otherwise its perfectly healthy and eating like a pig. I have found that i happens when he goes under the hot spot and stay there. Otherwise when its on the cold side with the himidity its self to glue itself back. Please let me know if any of you had the same problem.

could you post a photo of the area. Sounds like it could be fungal. Is it always on wet substrate?

Legally no one here should diagnose this for you. It's practicing veterinary medicine without a license and/or without examining the animal. Both things are illegal in the US. If you think your tortoise has something wrong with it, take it to a qualified reptile veterinarian in your area.

You can practice dentistry out of ther trunk of your car.
Inject Botox in a warehouse.
Practice medicine if you were a doctor in Cuba.

As soon as you cross into Dade County, anything goes.

I am sure you can find a roadside vet here too.
