Hello I am a new owner of a Pacman frog. I believe it is a albino, It has bright yellow body with orange spots and reddish pink eyes. It is only a small one. But I do have a few questions.
The place I got it from said that you can not handle them because it damages their skin. 2. I read on another site that they can eat meal worms but you have to chop the heads off? I have all size meal worms for my dragons, what size mealworms? I am keeping it in my livingroom does it still need a uth? I have one if it is needed, but I think it may be to warm with one. At what age can you tell the sex? I will post pics when he has settled. I do not want to mess with him any more I already put him in a new ten gallon tank. the thing they gave me with him the moss was all moldy. Yes I gave him new. I would like to put some live plants in what kind is ok?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read all this and answering my questions..
Melinda

Make sure the ambient temp on one side is 80-82. if you can't maintain that temp, get a UTH. I have been able to feed baby pacmans several mealworms without chopping heads off, and they seemed fine...but people still have stories about them.

you can try with the live plants thing, although they might get up-rooted.
