hello i just got a plumed basilisk....and i cant find any information on them... just to let you know i did try to research it...and it was given to me by someone that could not keep it anylonger and i want to make sure i care for it correctly

here is its enclosure...its 24"long, 26" high and 18" deep....there are 8 vents built in aswell

Well, to start with the cage is way too small. A basilisk should be kept in something the size of a large closet or so, not something that can sit on a desk. The minimum for me would be in the neighborhood of 4x4x7 feet, bigger if he is a wild-caught specimin with nose rubbing issues.

Then they like a large water area for swimming and diving, and plenty of trees and things for climbing. Temps in the 70s and 80s and lots of humidity.
