Big Spotted (Pic)

This was the largest that I saw of the many spotted salamanders seen migrating to their breeding pools in northeastern Ohio this month:

Yeah, that was a female carrying eggs. Most of the salmanders on the road were males, like this one:

great pic. Yeah, I have noticed that maculatum in central Indiana are somewhat smaller than the maculatum in the hill country of southern Ind.
