My B&W !!! ???

Mista24 Apr 01, 2007 01:51 AM

I bought my B&W Tegu at the EBV last October and I noticed that his tongue isn't split like all other tegus. I didn't think anything of it at first. Then I try to feed him and he doesn't eat. I've tried giving him pinkies, tegu bites, crickets w/ calcium powder and vitamins, melons. I don't know what to do. My hot side is at 105 and the cold side is at 85-90. I mist the cage twice a day. Does anyone have any ideas. The cage is 2x2x2 wooden cage. I have a flourescent light on a timer that turns on for 10 hrs a day. Is there something wrong with him???

I'm not to sure if tongue being not split has anything to do with him not eating, never had that problem. But he probly is in hibernation mode so he probly won't eat,my tegu hasn't ate cause he's hibernating. If he's not hibernating which he most likly is the take him to a vet.
