I was wondering if I put a 5.0 UV-B lighting in my cage for my frillie would it be ineffective to the frillie if he was more than 2 feet away from the light. Just wondering and if someone could answer that i would appreciate it.

That's all I have ever used, I do want to try the 10.0 when I buy more bulbs. Make sure your enclosure is tall, not long. Put the uv light near the highest basking area.. that's what I have done for years with all my reptiles. When they bask they get the uv. I hope this helps..
