Gono. grandis update!

Bob1515 Apr 04, 2007 10:16 PM

Hi guys!
I wanted to let you both know, that I really appreciate all the advice you gave me. I am glad that I didn't have to resort to separating them or anything. They seem to be doing wonderfully well, for ex. this morning there were 12 smaller mealworms in their bowl, tonight, none. This has been going on for some time now. I am thinking of just keeping it stocked with mealworms permanently? I am also giving them crickets which they seem to gobble up without much ado. How fast do they grow? By the end of the year how big do you think they'll be? I am really very happy about all this, and I am really hopeful that i will someday have a group of amazing agamids! Thanks!

Best Regards,
Robert

Hey Bob:
I'm really glad things are working out for your lizards. Now I can sleep at nights (just kidding).
Since the individuals you have are bigger than babies already they may be close to full grown within a year. Once they start utilizing all their food instead of playing "catch-up" you should notice significant growth within the group. You had a nice group of animals to start with and that always helps.
Keep good notes and take lots of pics. This stuff will all be usable down the road.
Keep us updated on their progress. I for one am very interested in how they fare growing up. Maybe this summer I'll find some and begin working with them again.
Have a Great Day!!!
