Some shots from the field this year.

davidtobler Apr 08, 2007 07:56 PM

Mojave Patchnose Snake

Pacific Gophersnake

California Newt

South Western Speckled Rattlesnake

Striped Whipsnake

Sierra Mountain Kingsnake

Aberrant California Kingsnake

All shots were taken with my Sony F828.

Here's one from indoors. I was taking a lunch break and was bored.

Very nice shots of some beautiful animals. Maybe a couple of the shots like the one of the salamander could use a small amount of fill flash to bring up some extra details from shadowed areas, but it may be my non-calibrated monitor at work making some areas look shaded.

WK
