i just got a baby baned water snake and he has one large blister toward the end of his tail. Does anybody know how to treat this with out going to the vet? iv already isolated him in a very dry contatiner any more advice??

Lance it with a clean needle and wipe it with an antiseptic wipe. My nerodia once had blisters from living in an aquarium with a large island. I switched it to a terrarium with a large basin and the blisters never returned.
