I found a regal ringneck and i need to no as much as i can about them so help me out here. I threw a worm in for him and i think he ate it but im not sure.

I've never heard of a regal eating a worm...
What state was the snake found in?

Oklahoma, im not sure if its a regal but it looks like the regals i have seen in pics, also he didnt eat the worm.

Oklahoma... Hmm. I don't have any range maps but I don't think that's regalis.
Not sure though.
If you want to keep it successfully you first need to find out what kind it is.

It maybe a southern. Ill describe it to you, the top is a light gray, his ring is yellow-orange, and his belly at the top its yellow then on down it fades to orange and then towards the tail its red, and theres black flecks all over the belly in no particular order. maybe thatll help

Nope. That describes many sub-species...

That's a prairie ringneck....And often they WILL eat worms....

The ringneck species common to Oklahoma (statewide range), according to an online guide that is pretty complete, is Diadophis punctatus. It also matches your description perfectly and cites worms, grubs and small lizards as common prey. I have also encountered ringnecks on occasion, though never tried to keep one, as my (limited) understanding is that they are not good captive snakes, decline to feed, etc.
