im shure that a few of you have built your own pond setups and i am just wondering what you have used to seal an concrete work that you have done in your ponds i took two kiddie pools and cut them to fit together like a figure eight shape and raised one up eight inches and then siliconed the two of them together and made a little "ramp" to have a water fall between the two of them and i need some ideas on what i should use to seal the concrete or maybe i dont even know maybe i dont even need to seal the concrete so if anyone has any intelligent input it would be greatly appreciated name brands or kinds of sealants you know anything like that.

Aren't most kiddie pools very flimsy? I think you'd be better off using a stock tank or preformed pond I'd think.

Any epoxy pool coating will seal concrete or you can use jell coat. The best stuff is Zenon Pool coating it is a two part epoxy that is non toxic to aquatic life once it is fully cured. ( about 2 days) It costs about 75 dollars a gallon and comes in several colors, the most common being blue. I used black for my Koi pond. Hope this helps. Jack
