My new and first leaf-tail

BlakeDeffenbaugh Apr 18, 2007 12:37 AM

Here is my new Sikorae I got at the Reptile show up in Indy over the weekend. She was sold to me as a "long term captive" and shes not skinny so I can believe it. She has a nice plump belly and no bones are showing. She is going to be put in a Exo-Terra 18x18x24 tomarrow and she will be geting a boyfriend friday.

Heres what I need help with. I'm sure I'm just paranoid but I noticed when she walks her feet are kinds twitchy or shaky like shes either really cautious about where hes stepping or I donno what else. Is this a sign of anything or is it like I said me just being paranoid? She drinks when I mist her, and I put some food in there Sunday night and its gone so shes eating good. Any advise would help alot.

Thanks,
Blake

I havent really noticed her doing it all the time. It just seems like when shes walking on your hands she does it. But I've been leaving her alone and leting her get adjusted so maybe I just missed it.

she probasbly needs a good dose of vit D3 in either powder or light form. Just a suggestion cant really tell. all of my uros get uv (5.0 or better depending on kind) as well as vit D3 powder.

Dust all her crickets for a while with a Calcium supplement that includes vitamin D3 (for example: Mineral I). That should quiet her shakiness.
