NC Copperhead

guttersnacks Apr 18, 2007 12:42 PM

Went flopping around in coastal NC on Monday. Hit a favorite trash site and found a duo of copperheads under some tin. It was in the 50's and windy as hell out that day. We still did alright.
Nothing spectacular, but a decent shot I got of one of the two snakes. Overall, I think we had about 20 snakes that day. 5 racers, 2 copperheads, 2 garter snakes, a slew of ground snakes, skinks and a turtle. The only DOR all day was a greenish rat.
Enjoy!
