I would think 75 to 85 in the summer is fine. I wouldn't worry about an exact temp. I keep mine outside all year around, (central AL) he starts eating in March and will eat up until the end of Oct or the beginning of Nov. depending how cold it is.
74-82 is ideal but they can withstand up to 86 and have been known to be extremely cold tolerant. Obviously you don't want to have it at the high end of water limit.
