Hello! I saw this water turtle in pet store and they said it is Trachemys scripta elegans. I don't believe it! Is it maybe Trachemys scripta scripta or something else?

that is not a red ear slider.
not sure im not great at sliders. but he could be a cooter..heiroglyphic slider popped out in my mind but i dont think he's one of them either
