Yet again...stunning! Very enjoyable pics...great technique and composition both. That last picture is just absolutely classic! You really need to set up a professional website...you've gone way beyond hobby with these photographs.

Yep, they're wide awake. The water is quite frigid so they're quick to haul themselves out as soon as the sun is up. Three males and one female were stumbled upon. I wasn't actively searching - I was recording a GPS track along the riparian zone of this river for some new GIS software.

Nice pics!! We found four new woodies in NY State this past weekend as well. Seems like they're really on the move now, though it may get cooler this week.
