im getting a female false water cobra on wednesday, it will onley be about 14" long so i'll start it in a 20gL but for a more long term arrangment what size should i get? (H,D,L)

probaly about a 50 gallon i have reserched these alot but never kept one so im not to sure but i would say 50 gallons they get a good 6 feet
You could get away with a single adult in a 4'x2' enclosure, if space is a major issue. Ideally a 6' by 2'or3' enclosure would be best for a single adult. Large water dish, I have about a 2'2' water dish for the snake with an active fountain that circulates the water.
I've seen pics on here that show some FWC's climbing in limbs, but this is truly optional as the species could probably take or leave the arboreal side of life. Therefore I keep my cages at about 18" to 24" high for the species.
