cage size, humidity

teaspoon Apr 25, 2007 04:28 PM

I found a cage that is 22x33 inches, that's about 5 square feet. Is that big enough for a 18 inch plated?
Also, is it ok for the humidity to get very high? like 80%? (its very humid where I live

Should be enough, especially if you add another level or two by made from wood or flat rocks (make sure the rocks sit securely - may animals have been killed by crashing caves because the owner underestimated their strength)

Humidity is ok.
