WHATTT SHOULD I DOOOO!!!

i have a hatchling red ear, and a 6 month old Ast, same tank or no? the red ear is smaller and i put him in to experiment and when i came back the red ear had climbed on top if the ast!! i no that red ears like to climb on top of eachother and im worried that when the AST is hunting he will try 2 climb him and get bit? what should i do

Dude, AST's can remove fingers and LIMBS! You really think its worth asking to even try that? I'm not trying to offend you, but I'm being blunt. I honestly don't think you should keep turtles if you want to try that. Use common sense, I know you have some. If you want something to house with your RES, try a map, painted, spotted, or musk. You'll enjoy that much more than an RES with 3 legs.
