Different types of Caecilians?

wiz Aug 14, 2003 12:38 PM

I used to own a Caecilian until he escaped recently. I was keeping him in a 90gallon tank. I am wondering how do I secure the tank to stop this from happening when I get another?
I need wholes in the back for the filter and heater.

Also I was looking at picture posted and my worm looked smooth and most of the others I see are ribbed. What is the difference, are they different species?

Thanks for you help

T. natans is the smooth caecilian and T. compressicauda is the ribbed one.
