So I just got my first Axolotl from a pet store yesterday, I have hiom in a 20L for now and plan on moveing that up a bit in a few months. Right now he is aboutthe size of my pinky or smaller, Lucistic, and pretty cool cause he is active and not shy at all.

Now of course when I asked what do they have these small little guys on they didnt know, ok you dont know what you are feeding it? They told me pond pellets, then I looked at the paper taped to the back of the tank and it had a list of stuff they dont even have on hand.

My question...Knowing it will take small live foods like black worms and brine shrimp does anyone or has anyone had any luck with frozen brine and frozen blood worms with guys as small as this?

All my newts and fish eat well off of frozen, I have the ability to get some live brine and springtails if I must but can they or more iomportant "will" they eat frozen?

Ok, so today I got him to eat "frozen" blood worms like the obease eats at a buffet, does anyone object to this? Is it a good staple? I usualy mix up my animals diets anyways so I doubt this will be his main course, but is it a allright food?

He found some corners that he likes alot and sticks around the shadows but I will post some pics as soon as I can. My only problem is getting a good shot with the lighting in my palludarium. It realy dont turn out well.
