is it possible to keep two african plated lizards together?
Generally, yes - two males might not be a good idea, though. Be sure to have a big enough tank with more than one hiding space. Watch them closely after putting them together for the first half day - after that, make sure that both are eating well.
The fact that they don't try to kill each other in the first hour does not mean that all is well. Sometimes animals are so intimidated by a cage mate that they stop eating and basking.
