problem with nerodia

i havent seen him eating since i got him 2 weeks ago. went into shed after i brought him home. i offered live fish, tadpoles and pinkies but he just ignores them. he is about 28 cm long, shavings as substrate, water bowl enough to soak in, temp at 75 but no UV..
